Red Lion ran a successful Christmas Beer Festival

Monday 31 December 2012

This pub, for the first time, has run a successful beer festival from Christmas Eve until the New Year. The owners suggest that this will become an annual event. A total of twelve beers were available over the this period, varying from Greene King Abbot Reserve and many strong ales down to Oscar Wilde Mild and other weaker strength beers. On New Years Eve a Jazz Band played and the festival was very well supported over the holiday. The current landlords have not been running this pub for even a year having moved here from the White Horse pub at Edwardstone shown as one of the pictures above. This was the only Branch Pub Christmas Beer Festival that proved to be a great event to visit. Beware that this pub will not be serving food after 6th January until February.
